Bon Accord secures juicy deal with supermarket chain Morrisons

The great taste of Bon Accord’s innovative soft drinks are now available to even more Scottish consumers after the company signed a new deal to supply their unique, naturally sweetened range to Morrisons supermarkets.

A selection of the best-selling Bon Accord lines were launched into Morrisons Arbroath store at the end of 2021 and, following the success of this store, the Bon Accord range has been rolled out to 10 stores across Fife, Dundee, Edinburgh and Livingston.

100% naturally sweetened with real fruit juice and organic coconut nectar, Bon Accord contains no refined sugar or artificial sweeteners, making them the only soft drinks company to use this innovative, natural way of sweetening their drinks. 

Perfect for the health-conscious and environmentally-aware consumer, they’re sold in recyclable glass bottles, enhancing the company’s natural green credentials.

There are five delicious varieties from the Bon Accord family that will be available to buy in Morrisons:

• Rhubarb Soda - 750ml bottle: Crisp and refreshing, with real rhubarb flavour, it’s a bestseller for a reason. 
• Cloudy Lemonade - 750ml bottle: Tangy and tart with a zesty zin, exactly how lemonade should taste. This Cloudy Lemonade has all the hallmarks of a classic drink. 
• Ginger Beer - 750ml bottle: Made with real ginger for a flavour that gently tingles and builds without overwhelming.

Rhubarb Soda and Ginger Beer will also be available to purchase in a handy 4 x 275ml pack.

Bon Accord Soft Drinks are delighted to be listed in Aldi stores for the third time in the last 12 months. As proud recognition of Scottish produce, Aldi have listed their favourite Scottish brands and the Bon Accord customer favourites of Rhubarb Soda and Ginger Beer (275ml) will be available to buy alongside your weekly shop from 13 January. 

Having previously sold out in-store, consumer demand is expected to be extremely high for the unique, premium drinks. 

Bon Accord soft drinks have a place in the hearts of Scottish consumers as a brand that was first introduced in 1903. Following a refresh in 2016 by the founder's great-great granddaughter, the brand has found steady growth in the premium soft drinks market.

A selection of naturally sweetened sodas from Edinburgh-based drinks company Bon Accord have gone on sale in Scottish Aldi stores for this first time as part of the supermarket’s search for Scotland’s Next Top Product.
